Peru Luis Vasquez

Peru Luis Vasquez

Limeade White Grape Cocoa

We love Peruvian coffee for its unique acidity and floral character, not dissimilar to washed Ethiopian coffees. This is likely due to Peru's widespread of adoption of bourbon varietal, which will readily get blended with more conventional Latin American hybrids. Luis Vasquez's coffee exhibits limeade and white grape, with a rich body reminiscent of cocoa.

Cajamarca, Peru

Peru is an interesting oddity in Latin American coffees. The region produces very little coffee compared to neighboring powerhouses Brazil and Colombia, but much of what is is organically certified and commands a high price. The best of it is extremely clean tasting, with a clarity of flavor up there with washed Ethiopian coffee.
